In “partial birth abortion”, the word partial refers to the fact that the baby is extracted partially from the womb by the doctor, but not completely extracted. Hence, a partial birth. The doctor then stabs the baby to death, and finally removes the now corpse completely from the mother’s body.
You are right though, that the procedure is terribly illogical. :o :cry: :evil:
