How do you get the picture in the author box?

The search engine I use is ixquick.com, now named Start Page. It dubs itself the world�s most private search engine, for what it’s worth, although I think at least it’s images are powered by Google which makes me lose some faith in it.

I don’t use Facebook. I prefer Gab.ai which lacks in workability but makes up for by almost never censoring legal content.

Just for the record, Srarboy, when I said “replace” I didn’t mean in an existential sense. I just meant are there replacements that a lone, citizen like myself can turn to? Competition, in other words. I realize no one is going to put Facebook or Google out of business, and I don’t really want to (well, maybe just a little  :-D). Sorry if my initial post caused confusion.

Click on advanced options, and point to the file in the attachment section.  You are physically uploading the file, so it must be saved somewhere on your computer.  HTML won’t work.

Allowed file types: txt, doc, pdf, gif, jpg, mpg, png, xls, aam, apm
Maximum attachment size allowed: 128 KB, per post: 4

I seem to recall one or more of the major networks going through financial struggles and having to cut the budget so the news wasn’t such a drag on the bottom line$$$$.

And now we may soon have Perky Katie Kouric(sp?) taking the anchor news_reader_ chair @ one network and the Survivor Celebrity Newstarget(who was set up for an assassination attempt by his own network) taking another news_reader_ chair.

More big money to a losing cause.
Just like Leno($14M/year) and Letterman($17M/year.)
