Mine too. I gave up face book and twitter since I spent more time here and I don’t get people asking me to join Mafia Wars.  :-D

Jen I know all that stuff. I have been messing with computers since the early '80s.

I don’t mind the adds at all TG Moses. As a former web site operator I understand there necessity. However sometimes it seem as if there is a troublesome one in the bunch.

My suspicion was that is was my ISP as Charter Cable is notoriously laggy at times.

Okay, I think some of these issues are database related and because I didn’t write the crappy forums software, there’s not much I can do about it.

There are a lot of posts in the system so the search query takes a very long time. If you do the same search after you see the 404, the result should come up quickly because the query eventually finished (after the browser timed-out) and was cached.

Try using Google:
“site:www.axisandallies.org Anniversary strategy japan”

www.mediafire.com is the one IL’s always linking
http://www.imageshack.us/ and http://photobucket.com/ are a couple others.

That is really the only thing that slows me down though.  And I have seen a couple of other comments on it, so I thought I’d mention it.

Oh, another thing. Drupal projects were a part of the “Google Summer of Code.” Meaning that Google felt it a worth while open source project to sponsor for summer interns.

However, I think they also sponsored some other CMS software packages.

Since then we’ve had about 2 hacks, and 3 massive shut downs… AaA.org has gone through a lot…
