After making bigger maps for Global 1940 and Anniversary, Renegade is now putting up an enlarged 1914 map for pre-order:

@thethedew I don’t own the game, but I think the main point of it is that it is not WW2 based. This way the game has appeal to people who aren’t that interested in WW2.

Let us know what you think after you’ve played a couple of games.

@crsluggo I think you are right about those carriers being Russian. If I were in their shoes, I’d reuse sculpts as well. They already have them, no need to re-invent the wheel.

I have my 7-foot long 1940 Global Map on pre-order. Looking forward to getting it so that when my son returns home from college in December, we can break it in and use it for the first time.

I actually have three tall square pub tables that when all put together, will fit this map on top.

You were 20min from my house. I grew up in this area. The ship use to dock in a city called Cheboygan, were my wife is from, on the Black River.

I still live in the area to this day.

Most of the material is TripleA-oriented, but some also applies to the boardgame series.

I am particularly looking for strategy articles involving individual scenarios. Put your scenario design tips in the Scenario Design article. Finishing the rules comparison would be useful.
