We are doing two different sets, using two different factories…  it would be impossible to match 100%.  Our “aim” is to make products that can be used together.

Having dealt with plastics in the past I can back up FMGs claim.  Even if you both uses the exact same color Pantone codes, the colors still might be different if you are using different kind of plastics.  You might get lucky if the guy who mixes the color at the factory really knows his job.  Otherwise you would have to use the exact same pantone color codes and the same plastic from the same manufacture to get a perfect match.

Today the first ACTUAL SET arrived in my office from the factory.  I have given final approval and production has begun.  We are now looking at weeks, rather than months for the release of COMBAT UNITS ITALY

FMG those are amazing, and I already checked out the first USA sculps you made and they look very interesting

Man, the new pieces look gorgeous.  I am just drooling looking at them.  Almost shorted out my keyboard, ha ha.
The color looks fantastic.  Compared to the Italy Combat Dice you can see in the background, it looks like you matched that color perfectly.  I do have a question regarding the finished pieces you showed us on May 20.  These newer pieces actually look a bit lighter in shade than the ones you showed us before.  Those looked like a really dark brown.  Is this due to a different type of plastic used for the newer pieces?  Or is it just because you took these pics of the pieces on the map while the first pic was just on a white surface?  Just curious is all.

FMG, really great looking Italians,  Question which large aircraft is the bomber versus transport?  I am not to familar with Italian Aircraft.

The transport plane would be the one that’s boxier looking.

you can see the italian dice in the back, and it’s more or less a color match.  if you have the dice, you can check for yourself.

If not, looking at my dice, it’s a sort of milk chocolate brown.

The photos look as though the white balance is off and they were taken under a typical incandescent light which always has a amber hue if you don’t account for it.
