Thanks Guys.  You will have an opportunity to get your pre-orders in ONE LAST TIME, once I have the full set FINISHED PRODUCT in my hands (My set is first to come off the line!)

I am supposed to get the FINAL SAMPLES (actual completed product) for my final approval on Monday.

Just a quick question to follow up on this.  Do you mean that there will be a final opportunity to pre-order the Italians, or do you mean there will be an opportunity to pre-order the Germans (which is something dadler12 was asking about)?  Thanks in advance for the info.

As soon as production is complete on the Italians I will open a pre-order.  As for the Germans, given the trouble the Italy pre-order has caused us, I will not be opening that pre-order until the product is going into production.

Can’t wait to pre-order Germany and US multiple sets. Stick with it FMG I can see the finish line.

Question, this may have already been answered in the 100 plus previous posts.  Is FMG goingto allow purchase of these sets after the first production run or is this a limited edition run for these sets.

All depends on Demand.  If we sell out, we will make more.

COOL!!  USA SCULPTS!!  YAY!!
I especially LOVE the US Cruiser piece.  The Wichita class!  That’s MY town!  Now I really feel like a part of this project.

FMG

I have been very pleased with the quality and details that you have put into each unit.  However, I feel that the Enterprise is not up to these standards.  Are you still able to make modification at this point or is it cost prohibitive?  If you can, here are some suggestions I would like to offer.

1.  The 4 square thingies (2 in front and aft of the island) should be round to represent gun emplacements.  If possible add 2 line in each circle to represent guns.

2.  The bow should protrude in front of the flight deck.

3.  Add 3 small circles or bumps on top of the island to represent the exhaust ports.

4.  Make the line in the rectangle go straight out to the side instead of for and aft.  They don’t look like guns in these positions.

I believe all the modifications I suggested can be done within the limitation of this scale.  By no means am I expecting all of these changes but it doesn’t hurt to try.  If I had to choose just one out of the 4, it would be modification #1.

These are first revisions.  I have already sent them back for more detail in many cases.  Thanks for the input.

Not sure if this is part of your revision but, it would look really cool to have some of the carrier deck details etched in - like the stripes and elevators.

if that was on Italy and Germany then yes…however if you do that and Italy and Germany dont have them it will make it(them) look out of place

Wow! Look at those trucks! They even have wrinkles in the canvas!  My paint brushes are rattling in their drawers! Awesome.  :-D
