I wanted to use this for the NEW AA Gun re: Bofors 15CM .  It is the only weapon used by all Axis and Allied Nations in the Second World War.

Bofors 15cm sounds fantastic.

I can only imagine that selecting what you want to sculpt as early as possible will significantly expedite production. And help foresee similarities that may make pieces confusing… in the absence of silhouette charts and magnifying glasses. :-D

Im on vacation until Monday…  but I am told I should expect an update from the factory at that time.

Having one AA for all nations sounds great to me though.

It’s weird, but I’m more excited about the upcoming Italy set than I am about Europe 40… Now that’s gotta be saying something!  :-)

And that would be the diameter of the barrel between lands (the ungrooved part)… so 150mm… almost 6 inches. Twice the width of a Sherman’s gun and WAY bigger than the dreaded 88.

Im new to this forum, I just played my first game of A&A and just got hooked  :roll:

This is a big thread and i don’t know if somebody asked this question, but where is the Mechanized Infantry?

I know the cost would be much larger, just asking  :-)

Hasn’t been made yet.  We are still waiting for that and the Submarine.

I think motorized is as far as they got…

Well if that’s true, then it’s an interesting situation for Italy because the Mech Inf playing piece is generic for all major powers in the game; not a technological improvement like it was in AA50. So - if that’s the case, then the upcoming AA Europe 40 will see the Italians as already having acquired that technology, won’t it?  :lol:

I suppose that the Infantry piece in the A&A game series is given as having a motorised compliment included within it… So I guess they will never make a dedicated Motorised Infantry piece (and that’s fair enough I think, due to the scale of the theatre/global games).

Will FMG therefore provide this gap in the market and produce Motorised Infantry?  :-)
