@blakeadam who are you talking to?
Re: Field Marshal Games Pieces Project Discussion thread
-
umm - all the pics are like two threads down from this one on this board.
-
That is a very nice transport, and such a good illustration of what the project is about sitting next to the generic allied transport. Great job FMG!
-
@Danger:
Is there a link to all the sculpt pics on the FMG website?
-
Two NEW Sculpts for ITALY added today in that thread. ENJOY!
-
FMG,
LOVE the new airplanes. Can you still fix the fighter or is it a done deal?
-
“Fix the fighter?” I don’t see that it needs any fixing… (probably a personal choice call yeah?)
-
Viracocha,
My girlfriend is an English teacher - my question is asking if he has the ability (“can you change”) rather than the intention (“will you change”). It was a simple question, asking if any of the molds can be altered at this stage.
-
Mama Mia! Those new sculpts are Bellissimo! :-) I am very eager to buy…

Viracocha was wondering why you used the word “fix” when he doesnt see anything that needs fixing, not the differentiation between “can you” and “will you”. I’m also not sure what your GF being an english teacher has to do with it (unless it’s just a snide remark or a passive-agressive jab at Viracocha)

Neither was intended, Rorschach (and Viracocha, a thousand apologies if that was indeed my tone).
All I was asking if the sculptures were molded and “set in stone”, or if this is still very much in the planning stage.
As to the comment on my girlfriend, she is constantly reminding me that “words mean things” - hence my careful use of words so as to avoid improper interpretation.
-
To redo any sculpt would be another $200 USD… plus the time to wait for it.
I think the majority would agree that the plane looks great? (remember it is an awful picture) and at least 1000% better than the Stock Italian fighter?
-
Hurry up so I can buy some!!
-
If it’s done - it looks amazing

Reloader-1,
Hiya, no worries sir - no offense taken, and if I had taken offense - I wouldn’t require a thousand apologies… just one. eh eh eh
:-D
-
The new planes - gaaa! And and and - wow. Such good stuff… So start whipping the minions and put some hamsters in the assembly line engine! eh eh eh
Seriously, superb craftsmanship.

The fighter plane is fine the way it is. It doesn’t need “fixing” or “changing”. Like Jeremy said, that would be adding more to the cost. More important, it would be going BACKWARDS in this project and I don’t think any of us that are anxiously awaiting these pieces want to do that. We have to keep going forwards. There is now just three pieces left: truck, halftrack and submarine. Once those are done, it’s production and order time. YAY!! We are almost there!
By the way, is that Italian Bomber the SM 79?

If I remember correctly…it is. it is the same Italian bomber than comes with AA50
-
Great job on the new sculpts. Looking forward to purchasing the real things.
Just Halftracks, Trucks,Submarines, and bunkers left!
-
Hmm…that italian heavy bomber doesnt seem like the SM 79… and the bomber that comes with AA50 is the same as the japanese bomber… :?
Well, but that mold looks great but it’s the japanese betty bomber.

It does appear VERY similar to the Japanese G4M. We’ll have to wait for FMG to confirm which model this is. Italy did have some lighter bombers with two engines that might be confused for a Betty if you didn’t know the scale (the italian planes that look similar were smaller). It’s possibly a Fiat CR.25, I guess, but that’s hardly a heavy bomber? We’ll just have to wait for FMG to confirm that he did his homework.
It’s also possible that the images are switched? Their Transport/Med bomber is perhaps a Fiat BR.20 which was a widely used bomber while the Fiat CR.25 was a reconnaissance/bomber/officer transport but only 10 were ever made. Gotta say I’m surprised it’s not one of the many 3 engine options as they were so very Italian. I’m confused.
