This is why I proposed 3 LL rerolls, for some extreme dice situations like this, dice games are not so interesting, 3 russian planes and 3 japan planes should be out and it would be a different game.

I meant a different game, referring to the interesting one to see, I discarded your typical opening in J1 to eliminate those russian planes allthoug Japan looses 3 planes too or even 4, not having achieved any of those targets (your J1 targets or the one I wanted instead), simply because of R1 dice, changes the game completelly and looses the interest to see what happens in a normal situation (not extremelly altered by dice as just happened) when the strategy evolves.

Yeah, ll is quite useful for developing strategies. Alot of my early global games and experiments were on the TripleA lobby, where ll is more common.
Still I find dice is more interesting (and diverse) in a competitive context. In dice, for me, attacking Yunnan in a normal game J1 is already a dubious move because there is an 8% chance of defeat (and this is/was the main reason people see/saw J1 as risky). So while the bid to Yunnan is certainly a setback for Axis, it does at least make the decision to avoid that battle easier.
Obviously the decision is totally different in a ll context because there’s a good argument that Russia losing their planes is a bigger setback than Japan losing theirs.
Anyway, all things taken together your R1 dice were still really really good :).

I agree G1 was good. I however would have preferred average in both G1 and J1 for sure. Pure luck generates diversity, yes, I just wanted test this and not something different… jaja
A full LL game is different, I agree, however 3 LL rerolls per player is not much for a Global game, where a minimum of 10 rounds and around 200 battles per player ussually take place. In the end you only use them on extreme circumstances for your strategy, if you don´t have them and this happens, basically you loose mainly because of dice.
Well, loosing or winning because of dice sometimes is part of authentic A&A too… I just wanted something different when facing the best strategist with Axis, a compromise between strategy and dice.
