Buffon was close to two (or three) of the Gernan goals. I thought it would be about the keepers: both are huge men and the best there is. Still can’t get over how many misses there were though. Although, I hear your point Amon Sul.

Interesting though that the England Rugby coach has taken the same players (pretty much) as his predecessor and turned a losing team into the one that just whitewashed Australia in Australia, as had never been done before. What exactly did he do to achieve that? Beats me!

Is funny; I agree. Must be a lot to do with confidence in the leadership and the manager’s ability to inspire confidence and lift morale.
I was sad that it took a non Englishman to do it though. I would be so upset, if Italy’s football manager was ever non Italian.

Not sure about that. They are dirty cheats. To give an example: the 107th min French Yellow Card (Koscielny) for a hand ball, should have been given to  a Portugese player. I do get annoyed how players cannot own up to things like that.
France were better and should have won.

Well, in the overtime Portugal had the better chances, that is what I was referring to.

They certainly did not play the best football of the tournament. Agreed.
