Hello and greetings from Bavaria, Germany!

As a tall fan of Axis and Allies I ask you about extra sets. I have discovered some on the German ebay sides.

There is a card deck or sticker for the game stones or also new units there, for example. Please, you answer me where I can buy something like that or you help me along where I can get rich on american home pages.

I took my 1999 Europe, 2001 Pacific, 2004 Revised, 1942, 1942 2nd edition, and 1941 and put them into Artbins. Like you, I left specific campaign, global, and AA50th in their boxes.

hi, since some days, I can’t see the topics where I posted in anymore whenever I open the topic list in a subforum (mostly the play by forum section forums). The only way to get in the topics of my games, is by pasting the exact link into my webbrowser, but otherwise I just can’t see them in the topic list. Anyone have an idea on what to do here? I have looked into my profile settings but can’t seem to find a solution, or I am looking over it.

Re: How to know when to buy air as GermanyI remember one game I won as the axis I used the sub push tactic and built nothing but subs Germany had like 7 subs and 3 bombers for support and wiped out the English navy in the 1942 edition and japan had closed in on Russia and scared the Americans with 9 subs out of the pacific so it was a great game for the axis

Bill, if your still out there, here’s some basic info. (Sorry no one bothered to respond earlier, I just recently registered here myself.)

If your talking about the 1998 A&A CD which uses 2nd & 3rd editions rules, you are in luck. A couple other web sites are better geared toward that format. I believe this site is used by predominantly gamers utilizing the board game via face-to-face (F2F), play by forum (PBF) and play by email (PBEM).

AAWC.org & ewarzone.com both have a patch you can download. _Plonitus & aqrit have done a ton of work over there to keep the '98 CD alive. War Zone also is a game host site to play it online.

There are oodles more A&A options out there, just not so much for the '98 CD players. As you may have noticed, there is a plethora of mutations of A&A games on the market now with lots of different scenarios, rules variations, etc. giving folks lots of flavors to choose from.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, I didn’t even touch on the A&A Iron Blitz or A&A RTS CDs.

Which one should I buy and what is the difference in the 2? Is Iron Blitz a release to fix bugs and be a better game, or is it just and expansion to include ‘marines’ & ‘destroyers’ etc.?

Appearantly you can’t buy Iron Blitz anymore, but you can still get the original A&A just about anywhere fairly cheap.

Yes the rules are pretty easy to comprehend. I suggest you try reading them and learning from the examples shown there…
