You actually got to intercept with both, but I would have taken the French fighter as casualty. Everyone missed however. YourAA didn’t. It is not Italy’s luck this game.

Oh of course. No reason not to use the second fighter because it can’t be shot down and increases the chance of shooting down the bomber.
You’ve definitely suffered some unlucky rolls this game. Yet it remains to be seen whether I’ll convert that to a win.
Don’t worry, the Germans’ luck is good enough for victory. Not building any troops in London the first round is a devastating mistake.
So it would seem.
I thought putting two fighters in was a half decent proxy.
At minimum two fighters and a couple infantry. Most people do a fighter and six infantry; even that can be defeated by a strong Sea Lion, but at a high cost.
