Or, since I lost despite the odds and good first set of dice, perhaps you are suggesting that I did not take my own casualties to best effect?
Initially I did try to protect sufficient US carriers for some of my planes to land, as at that point I thought I would win the battle with a considerable fleet remaining. Clearly I should have been less cocky!

Sorry I was out for the weekend. India was a mistake because I expected only a strife in the battle vs the russian armours and mechs.
