    I honestly don’t pay too much attention to the calculator. I ran it, too, and it told me the attacker wins 90% of the time.  :?

    Using my back-of-envelope calculator in my head I figured:

    1st round:
    3 fighters, 2 tact. and 2 bmbr for me should conservatively get 3 hits, maybe 4

    1 destroyer, 1 carrier, 1 cruiser, and 1 battleship for you should get 2 hits, maybe 3

    and so on…

    I’ve been misled by the calculator too many time; I’ve seen guys on here go completely ballistic, too.
