To help people out, I decided to create this post. Please post your games of AAP40 here, with a brief summary of your campaign, which side won, how many hours it took, basic strategies employed, and your feedback on the quality of the game.
makes me wonder how much the game was actually “playtested” honestly. The errata is going to be bigger than the rulebook.

I think that they should re-issue a second edition and provide it to those who bought this shabbily tested game (don’t get me wrong, I like it and it has potential). The should as least give those that purchased the disaster version with some sort of coupon or rebate. Yeah right, like that’s ever gonna happen.
I have seen it very very even. I played two games and I am 2-0, one with allies and one with Japan. Both against very good but not spectacular opponents (Im not great but I can be creative and level headed). The games were slugmatches from the very beginning.
Both games were won and lost in China and the victor was able to play a better game of cat and mouse with their American/Japanese navy. Its probably the best and most balanced axis and allies expierence I have had.
Its this kind of developer support to the fans that will keep me with A&A year after year. If only other game companies would take the time to do something as simple as a statement like this then table top gaming would be in such a better place. Thank you for taking the time to be so candid and considerate to your fans Larry.
China is irrelevant. J1 attack takes away so much $ from the UK / US with territories and bonuses that the US +40 is really a +20 or so net, and who cares about the US being able to buy a carrier extra that isn’t going to be anywhere important for 2 turns?
Good work as always Questioneer but telling you that you do not have a date is still not a confirmation.
Everything thet say is carefully worded so that they still have an out. I have been sown this road to many times before.
