    What’re your thoughts on the balanced mod? Seems a lot more balanced indeed - more distractions for Japan, more ways for the Allies to maintain their PUs which gives Axis too much to think about…

    Yeah, I took a calculated risk too leaving moscow at a coin flip. But I guess I am fine with it as long as the battle goes the way it should (seems like it didnt here though for you). When Germany loose all their units they are toast. You also had your share and more than that with poor dice

    As far as the mod, especially with vichy I think USA must spend heavy atlantic early on, otherwise Italy will go nuts. I also think they do too little to help Russia. There is realy nothing for Russia. Of course all the chinese distractions for Japan help Russia quite a bit. Maybe Japan should declare war and not bother with all the islands in the west pacific? In our game Japan is toast in a couple of rounds. No more fleet for Japan here. But you get up to 80 IPC easily and that is good news for Japan

    UK I think is even more fun to play with the mod

    Overall I think the mod is pretty good, but they complicate things too much with vichy. I guess Vichy is the only think I dont like. I really don’t see the point. If the point is to try to mimic the war better there are som many other things with this game that doesn’t fit in so why bother. Vichy should not be an option as far as I am concerned

    Rematch? sure I am up for it. Away this weekend though.
