I don’t think running home from Russia would’ve saved you; Russia had enough forces built up to deal with Japan and then it’s just a slow collapse from Germany…could’ve taken us another 5-8 rounds but I think once you lost Western Germany/Northern Italy your game was over…
I think your best bet once I landed would’ve been buying up more infantry in the West…
