2016 Find League Opponents Thread

Fresh meat here! Just found the forum and the league. I would love to join up and offer myself up for sacrifice! I’ve been playing A&A for 20 years, but only against friends, so I’m guessing I’ll be as a lamb to slaughter. But I’m a quick learner ;)

A few questions:

1. Is there a standard, accepted version? (G40 2nd ed? Alpha 3? BalMod?)

2. How exactly does this play-by-forum thing work? I save the file and email it to my opponent? Sorry, I’m an embarrassment to my generation; technologically illiterate!

3. After learning that I:

a) will probably offer little challenge the first go-round, and;
          b) probably need some techno-coaching to get up and running,

is there anyone interested in being my first league opponent?
