  • Damn, Italians fighting proudly…feel like I’ve gotten destroyed in some of my other games by crazy rolling like that. …it always sucks…too many statistical anomalies by TripleA dice


  • I agree - A&A to me has always been a strategy game with dice, rather than a dice game with strategy. There’s a big difference between the two. This isn’t Risk, or Yahtzee. My hope is that it evens out over the game for both of us - the problem is, the timing of bad dice is critical. If it happens early and in certain battles, the game can basically be over.

    I actually have come to like LL games…

    Anyhow, your Italy now has three transports!  :evil:  I have to admit, in years of playing, I’ve never seen it. By the same token, I could have basically guaranteed both battles by leaving your German fleet alone… but who can resist a wounded battleship?
