Both done to fine detail, these barrells were OK, so no metal tubing here. Brumbar has many home-made resin cast supplies, and uses painted thread for “ropes”. Skirts on Brumbar have been misaligned. So far, no battle damage on these, but I may add some yet.
Thanks, will give that try. The other/combined issue is that it is so pliable that the plastic bends and the paint peels off also. Might even try a dip in super glue or something.
Hello! I saw that you may be interested in purchasing Axis and Allies minis. If you are interested, I literally own every set & every miniature that exists. Message me if you are interested. Everything I have collected of A&A has been kept in special protective cases, preserving everything in an absolute state of flawlessness. Message me if you have any questions as well. Thx!
I was thinking of doing this myself. I was going to place a magnet under the carriers in the void space and then superglue a ferrous metal wire to the underside of the planes. Has anyone tried this. Is it not enough to make the planes stick?
Ive never tried it but I think it will work. You will need those 3mm hobby magnets, not sure if they are Rare Earth or not. They do an excellent job at holding tank turrets in place so its not a stretch to think they will work in your application.
More “Rush rienforcements” for my own game. These are Hotwheels micro-machine Sturmtigers and Panther Fs. Brumbars are “Classis Armor” by New millenium toys (all are 1:144 scale).
These would be more of a “generic” paint job on these. 1 drybrushing step ommited, only 2 color treads and single color tool handles and such.
Original paint schemes preserved, just darkened in, inked, and highlighted.
