Question - If France had succeeded in taking South France, and then the Axis take over Normandy and then on F2 the Vichy rules are met, would the armistice take effect?
In other words, isn’t it possible for Vichy rules to take effect after South France has been taken by the Axis? And any free french running around in non-French territories (like the 2 in London) would be free, but any sitting in French territories without other Allies freeze and become pro-Axis? Is this all correct?

Yes, but is that what’s supposed to happen?
Hadn’t given it much thought tbh. The strategic benefits of the Vichy French arrangement are pretty much null after the first round (it becomes almost all downside for Euro Axis). So its not a situation that likely to arise often. But, in the interests of clarity, the relevant ‘condition’ in Game Notes should probably read: “Southern France has never been taken by Axis.” I’ll make that change.
