  • You could do it as following strategic planner. First you propose the OOL you think is appropriate. Then JDOW confirms it or not. This might help teach you to see the true value of units in specific situations. Then again it depends on JDOW as well :P.

    This is ok as a default.

    However in the end it depends case by case. Sometimes I prefer to keep ships over air, sometimes air over ships.

    Sometimes mech is worth more than arty, sometimes the other way around. In case you feel insecure just ask.

    In some cases it is ok to choose for your opponent. For example in case you retreat, you can just choose for your opponent and invite him to change the OOL according to his convenience. this avoids delays in the game.

    But you need to finish all your combat moves first before posting the map, you still have units on loaded transports. In case you load them during combat move phase you need to unload them into an amphibious assault. Otherwise don’t load them during combat move phase but during non combat movements.

    I recommend you redo the Japanese turn, as discussed you only take units on transports during combat move if they are gonna land in a hostile territory, otherwise move them during Non Combat movement.
