2016 strategic planner (Axis) vs JDOW (allies +24)

I just realized you did not always take the preferable dice. In Baltic states the second set of dice is the worse one for you.

Still looks somehow messed up and I guess we have to clarify this first.

  • @JDOW:

Hey dude, looks like we have an issue here:

I have 2 set of dice for several battles. In many cases the second sets looks favorable for you (except 111).
I looked at the dice in France in the client, they don’t even match with any of the mails I received.

Please explain why I have so many double set of dice.

yeah i had the first round all completed and then i clicked cancel on picking what to kill or move in sz111 bc i couldnt tell if the battleship was damaged yet or not. then i tried to get back in and it wouldnt let me (idk why) advance or anything. that meant i had to replay the whole round again.

and most of the dice were worse the second time actually iirc i got demolished in 111 also. :(

and i figured out what happened so now i realize that if it shows one bb counter it means that it has been hit as oppossed to two hit counts

  • '15 '14

Hey, you are new to the league so I give you the benefit of doubt, here are some points:

    1. You MUST absolutely NOT just roll several set of dice without even mentioning to your opponent.
Once you occur a problem, you need to let your opponent know. And even if you accidently closed the client or so. The dice your be reconstructed.

What should I think now? Some battles went worse like 111, however Bessa, France etc was better in the first place. France could have ended in a disaster for you after you only scored 3 hits round 1, while my first set of dice scored 5 hits.

    2. “yeah i had the first round all completed and then i clicked cancel on picking what to kill or move in sz111 bc i couldnt tell if the battleship was damaged yet or not. then i tried to get back in and it wouldnt let me (idk why) advance or anything.”

Sorry, I did not understand that. What do you mean by “had the first round all completed”? I don’t get yet why you felt forced to redo all the battles.

that means that I had rolled all of those first battles. I was trying to decide which casualty I should take at the end of the 111 battle. I hit the X button on the popup. I tried to click on the seazone and it did not pop back up. I had no idea what to do bc I could not advance and it would not let me select the units in the zone.

I am sorry for the miscommunication and I will notify you of any further issues. this is my first time with tripleA so I am working it out.

    Scramble 113?

  • @JDOW:

    Scramble 113?

yes two tacs please. OOL cruiser, transport, tacs

  • '15 '14

There is only 1 tac that can scramble, there is no airbase in Germany.

  • '15 '14

Well, I see that the Tac at Germany could have easily been moved to WGR during G1 NCM, there was no benefit to keep it in Ger this turn.

So I give you the benefit again and just edit the Tac to WGR and run the battles.

yes you may. it is common courtesy plus you have been lenient with me :). and scramble for phillipenes or no?

  • '15 '14

    No Scramble.

Note: You did load units in sz6 and moved the TT to Carolines. This must not be done during combat movement phase as loaded units during combat move phase must end up in a combat.

You can leave it right now, just for future reference.

    1. You MUST absolutely NOT just roll several set of dice without even mentioning to your opponent.

Hey, btw: In order to avoid any confusion in the future I’d like to add some advice:

The general rule is: Always keep the original dice, if things somehow mess up or if something crashes you proceed as follows:

    • Keep the original dice
    • Roll remaining battles in the forum: Or clearly state in advance what additional stuff will be rolled in tripleA
    • Edit the dice results in the original map

In your case the procedure would have been:
Just save the game after you got confused in 111
    Ask for advice.

In your case you could have simply keep all dice that have been rolled and for instance roll the remaining battle in the forum and edit the results into the original map.

Are you familiar how to roll dice in the forum?

    Cheers,
    Tobias
