Just did the math - you have to post 22 times a day in a year to reach 8000 posts. That’s tough to keep up!
It helps if you don’t drop off the face of the planet for 7 months and 2 days like I did this year. hehe.
Hmm, at my average posting record, I’d be challenging Switch right about now had I not gone and done my civic duty to the continuing freedom of this nation. :P
That’s okay. Switch will get a virus that’ll take him down for a week one day, and then I’ll close in for the kill like a lioness laying in wait for her antelope!
LOL, 22.273 posts per day current average. I was pushing 23, but have eased up a bit since my promotion. Jen will slip ahead of me next year as my time demands away from these boards increase…

Yes, but my rate has also dropped lately. I have finals comming and of course, I have pre-Christmas exams to give my 7th and 8th graders that I’ll have to grade so I can get grade reports into the office to be mailed so kids can have a rotten christmas, etc. :)

When I found this site I thought I would just poke in from time to time to see what folks were talking about and check for answeres to questions that might come up. I’m pretty surprised I’m still around. Funny how things get to be a habit.
When I found this site, and then became active… I figured it would be about 2 years to reach the Top 10 in posters, barring lots of activity form others.
But I joined in, I posted some radical thoughts, had them ripped to shreds, played some games, talked politics, and in general have enjoyed the hell out of my time here.
A little over a year later, and almost 9000 posts… I am still enjoying myself, and just a little bit pleased that I am a respected member of the community.
#1 in posts is shite. But having folks respect my opinions in some areas, and willing to argue with me in others, and tell me I am full of shite in still others means a heck of a lot to me. Kind of nice to be able t blow off steam, have other folks call me on it, and then engage that person in a friendly game afterwards. Not a lot of places in this world allow for that…

I’m really, really tring to be amiable. It’s just the game is so close to end, we may as well just finish it off. It’s been SO screwed up, I don’t think a round has gone by where we got average dice results for the entire round, and that’s both for and against after 17 rounds. (Though the first 3 were absolutely the worst 3 rounds i’ve EVER seen in an AAR game, EVER, EVER! for the allies. I may as well have been sitting there throwing pickled pigs feet at you because at least hten you’d smell bad as you walked over me!)
