no elrood, you are right. i too hope to see the pace stepped up a bit. i think up to 3 days should generally be sufficient to accomplish a turn, especially since this is a competition and not just a friendly. hopefully Yoshi can find the time to help this game pick up pace.

if u wish, since u are waiting to play anyway, we can start our game with you guys now and one of two things can happen:
1. we win in this game here and so we would have gotten a head start with u guys
2. we lose in this game and so our game with u guys would just be a friendly match (no waste right? since we all love to play anyway, regardless of whether it counts for anything)this is of course if adam my partner is down for this as well (i haven’t consulted him).
i’m currently inactive in the league so i can afford to start up another game, but i can’t assume the same for him.
what do u all think?

Thanks for your offer, but I just double checked the bracket https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11j3c4cd0ZLSxkoqRUJsJxK-QAk3X7oDXQVImZtIUpjY/edit#gid=119809980 and the earliest we can meet is the final match… at this point it is not clear that any of our teams makes it so far… and even if we both do, would be odd that the final game of the tournament was decided even before some other games started.
