Nor should I have left it in range of the American fighters without more of a fighter screen. This game is winding to an end. Nicely played. I keep thinking about the Caroline Islands. I really think I had a serious shot if I sank all your transports right there. Everything in the Pacific and Asia would have been different. Cest la vie.

 @Arthur: Time for the brave attack on Moscow. And that is the game. Well played sir. I think I made four huge blunders: - 
I didn’t move all the infantry from Poland and Germany East on Germany-1. That was bad. They needed to be East were they were 
- 
I had plenty of tanks. But I needed WAY MORE artillery brought to the front in Moscow. 
- 
I didn’t have enough subs in the Pacific to support my capital ships 
- 
I needlessly hung the Italian Carrier. It was not that important to capture West Africa. 
 I think attacking Russian turn one (both sides) was right. What was WRONG was attacking both the HMS Hood (BB) and the HMS Wellington (BB) or whatever it was called in Ger-1. I should have picked just ONE fleet (North Sea or Scotland) and hit it with overwhelming force, and let you keep the others un-harassed. That way I might not have had even one air casualty. I still love the attack in the Caroline Islands. I had the numbers and the edge. I simply HAD to sink those three transports. Those were all the transports you had. I thought that was your weakest play in the game, leaving all the transports there where I had the numbers. Because if I win that battle (even with just a wimpy damaged Yamato remaining), the Pacific is pretty much done for the allies for two whole turns. True, I have no capital ships, (no warships at all) but you have ZERO CHANCE in helping China or India by harming my economy. So in a sense, I lose all my ships but so do you and (well) that means…… I win. I keep the Philippines, Borneo, and maybe even pull something out of my butt for Singapore. That is a huge financial swing. I keep both complexes (they never get attacked) and I am cranking in the very low 60s in IPCs instead of just… 50. I was going to overwhelm China. Rolling there was huge for you. I think that won you the game. I was scrambling there-after. Great game. I’d like to play the Allies next, no bid pieces needed. Straight up.

 You are making progress. You need way more artillery to get Moscow since they attack as well as tanks but you can get 3 for the price of 2. Subs are indeed very important in the Pacific, and it would have been a much tighter game if you had crushed my fleet in the Carolines.
