I’ve done the math. I can either attack Russia on Germany 8 or (probably) never. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to produce enough resources to overwhelm it. On Ger-8 I believe that with all the British fighters I have less than a 5% chance of defeating Russia. I just don’t have enough pieces. So I think at this point the only way I can win is to get other victory cities. I may have to go totally “defensive” until I can figure out my next move. I don’t know what that is yet.

Just to speed things up, if the British Spitfires aren’t in Moscow, I probably will attack it Ger-8 regardless of my very slim chances of victory. If they are there, then I’ll have to rely on Italy to win by going for Volograd or the Caucuses. At this point all the Germans can do is “hang on”
I have no idea what Japan will do. I have a lot of pieces but too much territory to recapture. I just can’t put either Russia or China out of it.

Its looking bad. I hung my carrier. I should not have separated it from the subs. Nor should I have left it in range of the American fighters without more of a fighter screen. This game is winding to an end. Nicely played.
I keep thinking about the Caroline Islands. I really think I had a serious shot if I sank all your transports right there. Everything in the Pacific and Asia would have been different. Cest la vie.
