Was I not able to use my suicide tokens on the ANZAC and USA transport at the Philippines and Manchuria? I am still not locked down on those rules but my whole game at the Caroline’s was about destroying those boats.
I still have a big pile of Japanese money for ships. I want to build them in the Japan sea zone. Is that an instant fight with the US ships if I drop them there?
lastly subs don’t block. Can a transport simply pass right by a sub when traveling through sea zones if it is only a sub there?

1.For some reason the game did not scramble your lonely fighter even though I pressed yes. I rolled separately for it and on the last round, it killed one of the subs. That is why I did an edit to remove an American sub that the fighter hit. Stranage.
2. There was no naval battle so you couldn’t kamikaze. They can only hit destroyers, cruisers, battleships, and carriers. Never transports or subs or planes.
3. you can build them in the Japan SZ. There will be a battle the US turn unless I move the subs away.
4. There are some complicated rules about transports moving through the sub-containing zones. I think that they need to be escorted by another unit, but I haven’t needed that rule for a while.

Just the same, I only get two IPCs from Mexico and to replace the Artilery, would cost four. Doing what I did forces you to “hang” either the dd or the sub attacking my transport which is just fine.

You know, even with your massive sub convoys, and not having ANY of the goodie islands, I am still cranking pretty good money. Asia looks mighty yellow. But that all ends now I think when the UK… expands. I did a strategic retreat in anticipation of the UK-Chinese expansion.
