Anyone have the Atari version of Axis and Allies? Do ya like it, or was it a waste of cash?
-
I have it, have never played it yet. And for what I paid for, can hardly call it a waste of cash (coin maybe, but not real cash).
-
Not even sure what it costs now adays, just found the old trailer for it…
-
If I’m recalling correctly, it will be different. It’s a real-time sim/strategy instead of turn-based.
And Switch is right…it isn’t very expensive. -
Yeah, if you are talking about the RTS A&A it is nothing like Regular A&A as we know it.
I have it and it isn’t that great. I supoose if you like RTS games you might like it, but there are much better ones out there.
I was somewhat dissapointed in it.

If you can get it for cheap, it’s not that bad. But there are superior RTS out there. Company of Heroes and Sudden Strike if you want a WW2 theme.
I also found that after playing a bit, all the nations seemed the same. Apparently there not, after checking out unit & building stats. You may not notice it that much while playing, though.
