I dont mind playing this as a stand alone game. Naval battles rock!! Naval battles are as awesome as land battles.

The previous link for the Guadalcanal miniatures campaign alternates between Axis & Allies Miniatures battles and War at Sea Battles. It does not tie in with their Guadalcanal board game. I don’t think they have yet to combine all three games into one campaign. I’d like to try something like that at my local game scene because I think it would be to difficult to do via PBEM.

None of the 1939 units are all that appealing to me, just because it must be limited.Â I like to go right into the heart of the conflict, and this one doesn’t measure up in a western theater scenario……although it may be interesting to use in an alternate history or other conflict scenario.

This one’s good and will really outmatch the Rumanian grenadiers, historically known for their tank fear. Hand to hand is pretty cool too, although Angriff is still one of my favorite specialties.

The Polish Calvalryman is a nice touch to the game. Thay will be easy to use in groups of 3 or 4 against soldiers. Im thinking the best way to use them will be to hide and rush machine gun nests.

Not just machine gun nests but also for going after BAR Gunners, anti-tank guns, and commanders. But I really don’t think you need more than 1 or 2 to accomplish this. It is very easy for the cavalry out of line of sight.
