  • You mean Australia’s capital? I’ve always wanted to try out an early invasion of Australia to neutralize it out of the war and gain an early capital. It kinda sucked, because with gaining the capital I suffered at the expense of losing ground in Asia, having also focused on sending all my forces in China straight for Moscow to help out Germany.


  • Hey, I accidentally bypassed the option to scramble planes for my bombing raid on Moscow. I was trying to save the map and clicked “select” to try to get out of the window so I could try to save the map, and instead it thought I selected “none”.

    So, just wondering if you want to scramble any planes to intercept my bombing raid on Moscow.

  • No problem, take your time and get things right.  Japan is in big trouble and you need to find a way to regroup.


  • Well, that’s the thing, right. I focused on Australia-first strategy and it set me back. I was experimenting just for the fun of it. So, we shall see what happens next.


  • The two keys for Japan is containing China so it doesn’t get out of control with a stack of 25 infantry, and holding onto the money islands in the Pacific.  They add up to much more money than Australia.  If you can get your economy to 70 PUs per turn, then America will have to spend most of its money to stop you in the Pacific.  That frees up Germany to win the game in Europe.  It’s okay to get eventually crushed in the Pacific, just make the Allies spend much money to do it.

    You’re completely right. I agree. I don’t think I’d try this strategy in the new league season because of how risky it is, but since this season is over I thought I’d give it a go and see how it plays out. Should be fun and interesting.
