setting up game
Please 'scuse the perfect dice, but you did get me for damage in 98 and I left you very juicy targets that should be easy kills as a result……
Gotta say I’m real happy to keep the big boats and the transport out of the Med for another turn, unless your ANZAC gets a whole lot luckier this time
Silly of me . should have put one fT and the art there, I suppose.

I need you to declare what fighters are on what carriers in 54 before Japan’s turn, thanks
Morning.
I am hoping the two Anzac are on the same Carrier. Never occured to me that they might not be (but the AI can be funny).
Wasn’t sure if you would Attack the Atlantic Carrier with the 3 Bombers, as it would have put them out of position. I think I would have done though. Was lucky to survive.
Russia should be done before school in 90 mins, but depends on the children!
Sweet, I was starting to get chills because no games to play
You can have both ANZ fighters on one carrier. It doesn’t matter what the AI has them on, you can edit them.
Iceland isn’t too bad a place for aircraft, even axis aircraft.
Yes, the carrier battle could have gone better for me, but it also could have gone better for you. I’m lucky I got 2 hits in the first round. Damaging the carrier was HUGE - you had a lot more options if it wasn’t damaged.
I’ll tell you something else, it’s pretty good that you even realized the bombers might come hit it. A lot of players would have missed that, because Iceland isn’t usually in play for Germany.

I thought you might have reinforced it with an AA and Inf, but I suppose that was if a Bomber survived.
Bloody annoying that I could not foresee your Sub preventing my Amphibious landing though. Got me there! I have TTs out of place now. I am really at 6s and 7s, because of you. Other games I have lost as the Allies, I have started much better. This will be the shortest defeat, I can assure you. I think the one I lost to Soul should have been prevented.
I do admire the top players who can do the seeming impossible and win against a good Axis strategy. It is the over generous NOs that make it easier for the Axis. That and the 21 starting Air for japan.
Glad I can give you a game to stave off the shakes. Enjoy breaking me down. And don’t stay up too long!
And I really am cool with you choosing the OOl, if I am asleep. You are good enough not to need to take advantage and probably can see what I see. Please do not hold up the game on my account.

Yeah, I’m taking away your chance to make a mistake when I choose your OOL :-)

Technically, I’m pretty sure the damaged carrier counts as an escort and allows you to attack, but I figure that’s not a good move for you.

Yes, and I think the major in Berlin as well as West Germany, or the Ukraine complex, you can blame them all. Wouldn’t it be challenging if the Axis had a minor in West Germany? Or at least take out the Ukraine complex.
Glad I can give you a game to stave off the shakes. Enjoy breaking me down. And don’t stay up too long!
I know, I stayed up way too late last night. Had to calculate the avalanche in the rankings. I don’t have to get up early in the morning though.
And it’s 21 aircraft AFTER Larry shaved about 5? planes from their starting set up. Seriously, what was he thinking with 1st edition lol. There was such a huge disparity between the Europe board strength and the Pacific it was completely laughable. He shaved planes off the Allies in the Pacific also.
I bought the 1st edition too, so I do know.
I realise I can use the CV for the US, thanks, but can’t afford to lose it, and it won’t help with the Uk.
I am in a bit of a pickle.
Right, though I would certainly have liked to come away with a bomber or two, that hit on the carrier was big and I’m lucky I got it, after it was down to bomber vs. carrier
Yeah, I’m going to bed….
You are definitely a respectable player, and not a pushover. It looks like you have the Germans slowed down in Russia, if not pretty much stopped. Although I haven’t been trying really hard to push through Russia, because I don’t think I need to, you’re doing several things well.
This is not flattery or just trying to say nice things - I’m sincere
