    Thanks for teaching me about that Iceland trick. I had seen it don and had always sunk the TT, but I must have had a FT on England. I think I always have one there normally. Not having one is causing me a headache now. Won’t forget that lesson!
    You have stymied me in the Pacific too. I can’t remember the TUV being so close on T4 eurher. Not really sure what I could have done dofferently.

    I can tell you what you could do differently, sometime.  I frequently take Iceland or the Aleutians even when the transport is doomed.  USA/UK has to send a transport there to get it back, after all, and I usually have stuff in range to make them pay.

    Maroon is making hay in the Pacific.  He got mega lucky in taking the Carolines with loss of 1 infantry (I even had a fighter there) and gambled and moved in everything available.  I don’t think he realized everything I could get there, because I had 70 some percent chance.  I attacked and got killed.  3 loaded transports had to retreat, but I think they’re safe off the coast of Paulau.  Don’t worry, Maroon will suffer the same fate as you, but thought I’d mention his fortunes in the Pacific are much, much different than yours, but it was pure luck.  If I get decent rolls, I sink the entire Allied fleet, 3 ANZ fighters, and take the Carolines back with authority.  Sometimes you just get lucky

    I also did a powerful airstrike on Sze on J2 where he had 4 Chinese, and he hit 4/4.  I only got 2 hits.  I went a second round with a tac and a bomber, and that risky decision paid off as I hit twice and he missed twice, but 4 planes for 4 Chinese infantry?  Ouch.  I already have almost no Jap aircraft in that game  :roll: but trust me, the outcome is not in doubt whatsoever  :-)

    Morning.
    I am hoping the two Anzac are on the same Carrier. Never occured to me that they might not be (but the AI can be funny).
    Wasn’t sure if you would Attack the Atlantic Carrier with the 3 Bombers, as it would have put them out of position. I think I would have done though. Was lucky to survive.
    Russia should be done before school in 90 mins, but depends on the children!

    You can have both ANZ fighters on one carrier.  It doesn’t matter what the AI has them on, you can edit them.

    Iceland isn’t too bad a place for aircraft, even axis aircraft.

    Yes, the carrier battle could have gone better for me, but it also could have gone better for you.  I’m lucky I got 2 hits in the first round.  Damaging the carrier was HUGE - you had a lot more options if it wasn’t damaged.

    I’ll tell you something else, it’s pretty good that you even realized the bombers might come hit it.  A lot of players would have missed that, because Iceland isn’t usually in play for Germany.
