@cwglee51 Hey what version of tripleA is this?
2014 Championship – (4) Ghostglider(+21) v (2) Gamerman01(Axis)
-
2 fighters and 1 sub from 6 to 35 and 1 sub to 35 instead of to 33
I must have left the carriers or the subs out of the calculation when looking at attack on 35
I hope you haven’t really started studying USA turn yet -
As far as I remember you have previously mentioned that this game has already been won from axis side and actually have been so the whole game and I should resign.
Taking this into consideration and the fact that I mentioned that I already had my combat moves for US ready, I would like you to reconsider if you still want to ask for changes in your NCM.
-
Talking about bombardment in the Baltic sea is not “having combat moves for USA” ready.
You want to take advantage of a blunder that will prolong the 2014 championship game that’s been going on since August even longer? Fine. But remember Alaska when I let your fleet get away - it took landing spaces away from my bombers.
May you get diced in India and not take the Phillipines and lose to VC’s right now
-
I hope you haven’t really started studying USA turn yet
If you have, then disallow it and ravage me in Z35 but you’re still going to lose and it’s just dragging it on. I understand you haven’t given up hope for some reason, but taking advantage of me here isn’t very sporting, especially since I gave you Alaska.
-
For how long have you actually sat down and studied the board since J27?
Most elite players like to play against their opponent’s “best game”.
Now if you’ve spent an hour or more poring over your whole USA move, then fine, disallow it. But if you’re just gaming me to get every possible advantage from a hopeless position, then damn it!!! -
Gamer, he clearly said he “has his attacks ready”.
Hope you work this out, because it would be an ugly turn of a great game by two of the best players. Its not like you deciding on how much time he has to spend before committing to an attack.
-
@alexgreat:
Gamer, he clearly said he “has his attacks ready”.
I can’t find that. Can you quote it for me?
Hope you work this out, because it would be an ugly turn of a great game by two of the best players.
You’re right. And I will be happy to not do the edit if he can tell me that he actually has spent time studying the move after J27.
It just irritates me that this could prolong the game, and because we have allowed edits like this all game long -
As far as I remember you have previously mentioned that this game has already been won from axis side and actually have been so the whole game and I should resign.
It has, and you should.
Taking this into consideration and the fact that I mentioned that I already had my combat moves for US ready, I would like you to reconsider if you still want to ask for changes in your NCM.
Where did you say you had your combat moves for US ready. You didn’t. Just resign.

Copy of his post:
I might consider to make the bombardment from z114 depending on US dice - but thank you for telling me in advance to speed up.
After all there is no need to use the airbase as cover anymore with only 4 axis planes left in Europe.I have not decided what US will purchase, but I have my attacks ready! This will be fun!
But I will not be able to move tonight - I hope I have time tomorrow…
-
Oh, I’m sorry, I did overlook it. I see it now, he said he had his attacks ready and was deciding what to buy. Fine, disallow it, take advantage of the blunder. I will still easily win
-
No wonder he said it would be fun. Must have been drooling over Z35.
The Allies can not possibly keep Japan from getting and holding 6 VC’s, and it will be soon. Even taking advantage of a significant calculation blunder will not change that.
I still think it’s a cheap tactic. I could have easily blocked any attack on 35 with 3 destroyers. Now I want to move 2 subs and 2 fighters there and you won’t let me.
The classy move would be to resign now.
-
If I had denied the late move to Alaska, the entire USA fleet would have been sunk early in the game with less Japanese losses and we never would have made it to round 15 or 20. So I am really surprised that you’re wanting to deny this, especially when there is very little doubt of the outcome of the game and it’s gone on so long
-
Forget it, it’s fine. Don’t allow the edit. It’s a pretty risky attack and you won’t have overwhelming force on India. If you truly had all your attacks ready already and that included all in on Z35, then go right ahead. I wish I had never asked for the edit.
-
Maybe the dice finally catch up to you and the game will end right here
-
3 kamikazes at the battleship, 1 at each destroyer, total of 5 used, 1 saved
-
No, don’t save any, you don’t have any future bombardment to stop anyway
4 at the battleship and 1 at each destroyer, assuming you attack 35/Phillipines with everything you can.
-
Yeah, I shouldn’t have protested, because I was right. Japan will still be impenetrable and I will finally win soon
-
Oops, you need to know scramble decision too
If you attack 35 with everything, then scramble all 3. If you are attacking the islands too, then of course you will need to wait for my decision. -
I have not decided what US will purchase, but I have my attacks ready! This will be fun!
I read this as meaning his US combat move was already prepared before the edit.

Oops, wasn’t looking at the latest page, just ignore me :P
