Scramble from Midway? Battleship/cruiser in zone, with 2 infantry landing on Midway
Will be needing round by round choices in Z13 probably, after that.
I’d go ahead and roll the first round attack, but playing by the rules, Midway has to be completely resolved first……
I think it’s the right time of day for you, so hopefully… we can finish this in the next couple hours maybe
WhateverThanks!

Oops - just re-posted that message so you would know immediately I’m waiting on a decision, but realized that message is inaccurate - I have a bomber in Z25 also in anticipation of a scramble
-
no scramble @ midway/z25

Well I lucked out in Midway, but only one hit from the subs in Z13 - need you to choose a casualty before rolling the attacking air.
Wanted to roll as much as I could in Triple A, but will be rolling your defense on the forum because Triple A splits it up in 2 rolls and makes me choose casualties prematurely, when all the defending dice in this situation should be rolled together.
So after the attacking 6 aircraft roll in Triple A, and I will probably need another casualty choice, then I will be switching to forum rolling and not rolling any dice on the Triple A server for this battle.
-
I take one of the undamaged AC’s as first casulty.
Remaining defense:
2 AC-hit, 1 AC, 1 BB-ht, 3 FTR, 1 T.BMB -
You don’t have a tactical bomber - that’s an ANZAC plane
My aircraft only scored 2 hits. How do you take them?
-
I almost thought you were giving me an advance OOL…… but fortunately realized before I rolled more dice, that you were just being clear what you had left… I would have been disappointed if you lost all your ships first -
-
I am sure you will manage to kill most of my fleet anyway, but I will keep it alive another round
ANZAC FTR + US FTR dies
-
I realize that since your air can only hit air, I will go ahead and keep rolling in Triple A - I reserve my right to change casualty choice between fighters/tacs after seeing your ships roll.
-
Oh, and good choice (haven’t rolled defensive dice yet)
-
You hit 3/4 with planes and 1/4 with boats. I lost 2 fighters and a tac, and 1 sub
My 3 subs all missed and I hit 2/3 with aircraft. How do you take your 2 hits?

-
2 casulties:AC-> AC-hit + US FTR
remaining defense:
3 AC-hit, 1 BB-hit, 1 US FTR -
Well, your luck continues throughout……
I have lost all my planes after your planes hit 2/2 and you got another hit from boats
Then I hit 1 carrier, you hit me back
I missed 0/2, you hit me again
My last remaining sub scores a hit. You have 2 carriers and 1 battleship. Do you lose another carrier, or the battleship? -
Against subs in this battle - lose AC’s first; keep BB as long as possible
-
Well, I’m down to 1, so OK
I’m asking because when you have boats survive, you might be wishing you had lost the battleship. Best to make sure. -
