@SeaYa another edit I forgot to put in the original post, for added strategizing, if the attacker has other sea units in addition to transports battleships and cruisers, those other surface ships can be used as casualties. To help the defender, there’s no limit to the number of coastal guns that can be placed in territories.

I read once on the Larry Harris forum an opinion that the B-29 Supper Fortress NA from Revised was 'broken". I agree, and have decided to fix it. I dub this new US National Advantage:

If your bombers are intercepted on a Strategic Bombing Run, they may act as a flying AA gun and fire on each intercepting fighter at a 1 (2 for Heavy Bombers). -
In my house rules, all bombers receive a roll @1 when defending against interceptors. I would consider flying fortresses defending @2 when defending from air units during a raid.
