Your fleet off Gib is making me very nervous.  :cry: Wish I could bomb the NB, but haven’t been able to see a way of giving myself a decent chance with your fighters there to intercept.  :|

Should have landed the 2 bombers in W Ger in Normandy instead. Can you please move them there.  :-)

Normandy : really? west Germany or S Italy can reach so many more places.
Italy needed to Bomb on its go, but uour Subs could not get through, unless the it Bomber hit the DD.
Build another Bomber, but concentrate on Russia. Don’t be too side tracked. As long as you hold Rome and prevent me taking Paris, -Cairo will come after Germqny sweeps through the Caucasus .

I used the Italian bomber for the Baltic States can opener, as I decided not to be distracted from Russia!

Are you saying Italy should have bombed the DD in the Baltic to allow the subs to get through to the Med? But you also have DDs off Gib that would have barred me from the Med. Did consider a G attack with 5 subs and 2 bombers on the Gib fleet but the chances seemed miniscule to me, so I must be misunderstanding you?

The only other thing I can see you might mean is to bomb the NB? Unfortunately I had landed the Italian fighters in the wrong place on the previous go for that. If I could bring 2 fighter and 1 bomber against the NB with 3 fighters intercepting should I have done it?

Or did you mean something else?

I think I covered the attacking options you had, making the fleet safe. Your one Bomber needed to hit both the AB and kill the DD.
The fleet was safe, therefore.
There is no point bombing the AB if your Subs can’t get in.
Don’t let me take Rome. I was lucky to be able to fortify  Morocco or you coulsd have landed German Air there. I am quite pleased with things there. japan still strong and you ought to capture Moscow.

Italy must have a bomber though. It can do many things ( or threaten to)  and keep me defensive. I have lost 5 Russian Inf to nothing, which isn’t good.
