Capt Witt (Allies!) and Private P (Axis) clash in 1940


  • One problem with J is my inability to take and hold the islands. That’s made worse by your naval threat to all my factories bar Indo-China, where I need to build land units, so I am losing the transports race.

    Whenever my fleet ends up off an island attempting to protect what t/ports I do have, I lose movement due to the lack of a naval base.

    Meanwhile the allies build and lose t/ports with abandon.

    I do think I may be on the edge of achieving China’s demise, but it’s too late. I began thinking that my first priority with J was to get rid of China, which I do with no problem against hard AI. Perhaps instead I should have focused on winning India?

    Also my factories would have been better placed with naval bases.

    Anything else I should be thinking about?

    I forgot to attack Shan and I set up a landing spot  (US Carrier) for my 2 UK Air, then fprgpt top attack your DD and TT. Would have been much worse fro you.

    China first, but money Islands soon as you can. You should have been making 70, not 55.  Don’t tarry. India can be starved. Some like to take it, but can lose lots of Air.
