I dont drink Zima.
This is the avatar I use everywhere, except my online D&D game and that’s because we’re supposed to post a picture of the character.
I use it because it’s mine. I don’t have to worry about anyone else having the same one. Also, i’ve actually met two guys from online in the real world because they recognized me from my Avatar as I strolled through Woodfield Shopping Center. (I’m there a lot…more then here, if you can believe that!)

I get what you are saying Jen, but at the same time I have to call BS. If I were to post a picture of me (when I was younger) I would have to pick the one where I am sprawled out on the floor drunk new years eve 90. My friends messed with me and set up the pic. It’s funny as hell, and it’s me at my worst, but I hardly think it would cause females to pay attention “DAMN IS HE HOT PASSED OUT LIKE THAT!” lol
Ya could have had a pic of you while you were preg. One when you got married. Hell, one of you sprawled out on the ground like me. Why the swimsuit pic? I think jerm has one of him and his kid, why not something like that?

That one’s just readily available and I think I look good in it. I have one of me in a flight suit with my helmet on too, but you can’t see much of anything there. I have one of me in my USAF-ROTC Exhibition Rifle Drill Team uniform, complete with asgot. That would work too, I suppose.

just to set the record straight here, i know most people here are considered geeks, myself i hardly know a damn thing about computers……i come from a very heavy sports background and spent 13 years as a construction electrician before my present job. i just love wwii history and also civil war and history in general, my wife got me a and a for a christmas present and i was hooked, i also play no video games whatsoever and am now very active in camping, fishing and paintball(which is hell on a 42 year old)…anyway my point is im not your typical geek(just and a and a geek)

Were you an electrician (union electrician?) or an electrical service technician?
I was an electrician (IBEW) for 8 years but I was actually more of an electrical service tech/project manager.
And I have this really cute picture in uniform holding an M16 in the present arms position.

i was a union electrician out of local 270 in oak ridge tn, worked in toledo, oh and detroit, mi some but never make it to chicago

I hit Idaho, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan (inc Detroit), Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota and Tennessee. I wanted to go to Mountana…. :(

I was only there to install security devices and power for them in CVS Pharmecy, K-Mart and Wal-mart. I never bothered to say hi to the local lodges. :)

Craigslist is a classic “bait and switch” internet site where anybody can post a “job” or a place to rent or sell and buy stuff. The problem is 90% of these people have this agenda where they for example offer to sell a sofa and somehow some sex must be exchanged to “trade” for the sofa… The adds are written cleverly sometimes but the result is the same. They want you to have sex with them in exchange for its value. even if they offer money they use terms like " i have a room to sublet and i will reduce the rent by 50% if you wash my cat and perform “other duties”
Its a haven for freeks. and the administrators at the site spend alot of time reading the hidden message to stop this but its too much.
Craigslist is based in the Bay area… so you also assume where some of these characters are coming from… :-o
