I think the proper procedure is whatever the players decide. I appreciate the heads up. I’ve had other opponents just make the combat edits without asking. Rule of thumb is after dice are rolled you’d better ask. I did think it strange that you attacked with only air. I’m cool with you editing in 1 inf and taking the territory. Remember to edit the control of the territory and your treasury as well! We all miss stuff especially when your turn gets interrupted. I try to be pretty casual when playing. Follow the rules yes but have some leeway for your opponent. I am in the league to learn more about the game and get better.
I too have a buddy that I absolutely own when I roll AA guns. I make the air raid horn noise as I’m getting ready to roll dice! Really gets in his head.
Thanks! Yeah, I am playing to learn the game as well. That is why I am trying out different stuff each game just to see what works and doesn’t work. Last game, I really screwed up Japan waiting so long to attack. I figured that keeping the US out of the war was better, but all it did was allow you to get set up real good to be a pain.
