@Running-Away Per page 22 of the rulebook, units of another power may be transported only if that power is friendly. Per page 12, the US is not considered to be either friend or enemy to any other power while it remains neutral. Therefore, the US cannot transport units belonging to any other power while it is neutral.

Since WW1 with standard rules is considered a positional slog, I don’t think that adding zombies to the mix is going to make the game more dynamic. Its going to create an even more stagnated wall of positional battle. Also, territory control is quite different than the other editions so zombies would have to be added into that mix and perhaps you could do whoever has the most units controls?

The unit pallette is also smaller, which means the tech and interaction between the units and zombies would have to be fixed on a unit by unit basis (planes dont attack zombies, for example, because they dont attack anything).

I haven’t come across a shop that prints on vinyl, but it seems that most do print on PVC material for outdoor banners which might be comparable to vinyl.

Hi mate! I have printed it in a regular copy&co shop, in Tilburg. I have printed it on regular hard poster paper, it isn’t perfect but it did very well and the lads liked it more than the original board. If only i can get a larger print on vinyl/PVC. That would be awesome.

@Flashman, i did not have any trouble with crowded tts, only issue was in Switzerland. If you have a 20cm more larger map then your troubles are over, no more over crowded issue.

I might paint my pieces, but only in national colours. Being able to identify a unit is more important than authentic camouflage or uniform colour.

However I prefer a muted mat finish, with dry-brushed weathering effects added on. A custom board will determine if I keep the official colour scheme - the Great East Prussia Question may well determine that.

This map (in larger size than first edition !!) would be my favourite map for second Edition. (of course it would be in english :wink:

All changes:

2 more tts for Russia: St.Petersburg and Kaukasus ( Starting Set Up for both were the additional 3 Inf from the Tournement Rules)

1 more tt for Turkey: Armenia (Prevents Russian Units from taking Bagdad in Round 1)

Germany looking like Germany in 1914 not in 1919. Bulgaria reaches the coast/Finland no more.

Switzerland with its formidable army and difficult mountaineous region worth 3 IPC.

4 more USW-Zones (historical)

Mexico as Minor Power to simulate the Zimmermann-Note, some Zones for the US.

Konstantinopel is handled like Suez Canal along with one more SZ in the Med.

In Africa some colonies allow to place 1 Inf. when mobilzing your troops (brown K). (Mexico also)

I kept the rest from original game although there were some things I still don´t agree with (you can check out some of my maps in the 1914 map tweaks in the House Rules) but for the simplicity of the game I can live with it.

My wish would be that it is forbidden for AH in the first turn to attack Italy or Romania because these two were Central Powers when AH declared war against Serbia in 1914.
