    You have to roll tactical bombers and strategic bombers separately. You can’t roll them together and just choose tactical bombers as casualties (that would be a safe way to never get a bomber shot down). Its a mistake in tripleA that allows you to do so

    Found this from the rulebook and I remember reading FAQ’s about it as well which we could look into if you don’t feel the following quote is enough:

    “Each complex and base rolls one die against each bomber
    directly attacking it (regardless of the number of
    bombers). For each “1” rolled, a bomber of the attacker’s
    choice is immediately removed.” (page 17 G40 europe 2nd edition)

    I got one hit so the most fair solution might be to roll a die on forum to determine which bomber is hit (1-2 tac.bmr; 3-6 strategic bomber). If a strategic bomber is shot down roll to decide which bomber is downed or just remove half the damage made and then roll the damage for either airbase or navalbase. How does that sound?

    I can roll the dice on the forum going forward however I specified which triple a dice would count for the tac (first) and which for the bombers prior to the dice being rolled in triple a. I trust you saw that post and the later dice results? This has been done in games previously and assumed that it would suffice for our game? Did you not see that post?

  • if you notice the time stamp (11:51:17am EST) on my aa selected casualties in the forum post versus the time stamped (3:52pm) email notification of the dice results you can see my forum selected casualty post was prior to the dice email results.

    The “history” of that combat shows the first dice was a 1……

    Like I said, I (we) have used this process previously. I am not sure if it is flawed in anyway or if it can be manipulated but I assumed this was a “standard” of sorts that most people utilized. I apologize if you would prefer to handle these issues with the forum dice. If so I will utilize that solution going forward. let me know.
