    oh man, i’ve been so absorbed in this game i have neglected some of my other games, among other things (family) haha

    this japan is a bit complicated, so i’ll probably slow this down at this point. i have family things happening today, but will most likely have my turn done later tonight or early in the morning

    very interesting struggle, and for sure the hardest allies i’ve ever faced! to be honest, i still can’t believe how much of an impact your taking italy has become…i guess i really underestimated it, or else i would’ve guarded better.

    good move with the russian bombers…i don’t know if you baited me in iraq, but i thought if i could only knock out even one of those russian planes…i knew it was really risky, and man that hurt, as i lost 5 japanese planes that round!

    Haha it truly is a very interesting game!

    No problem.

    Yeah you had everything else guarded, but with that big of an Allied fleet I would hope somewhere in Europe was available to land on… and Italy was pretty much guaranteed, but certainly not ideal cost-wise in the beginning.

    I saw that you could attack it with air, and if you succeeded in killing both planes then I would give up on Sicily and Sardinia, but it was risky and if you won you would have had to send a carrier there as well, so it was probably costly for you either way. It had to be Iraq since everywhere else was within range of your German air.

    I was planning on a J3 unfortunately haha, never faced a J4 DOW that turned out well! If I knew about the J4 I would have rushed the Pacific).

    as far as the iraq strike and needing to send the carrier, i was counting on at least two planes of mine to get downed, so that i wouldn’t have to commit the carrier…heck, even if i had lost all of my planes, but if i had taken out yours as well, would’ve been quite worth it. just got pretty unlucky there i guess

    i was really planning on a j3, but i saw how hard you were building up, so i decided to hold off to give the euro axis some more time to prepare for the assault. i thought i prepared well, but alas i guess i didn’t guard as carefully as i thought…although, everything was so tight, seemed like something had to give. poor italy…
