My usual horse came up lame this year, so I am not sure who I am rooting for.

That is almost the way you have to play it in order to win. A balanced approach only seems to get you so far. The winners usually are decently heavy on one or two teams…. or they just pick most of the right guys in the boxes.
That is the real key, but the hardest to actually do.
Minnesota went out in the 2nd Round last year, but Zach Parise had more points than Max Pacioretty who went to the 3rd Round with Montreal. (They were choices in the same box)
It is just so hard to predict. You gotta put all your eggs in between 2 and 4 baskets I think.

Politics is pretty much the opposite of that, but that’s why we need Garg around.
I don’t even know why I brought her up in the Pool. Just to say that she announced her run for president, with an underlying dose of sarcasm from me.

I’m guessing big G went heavy on the nuks, and seeing as I picked a lot of Flames… our pools pretty much hinge on that series. I doubt he picked any Sens to spit back at my face… or maybe he did, who knows.

Habs won, PK Subban slashed Stone… so he is enemy #1 (as always), and will again be booed in the playoffs whenever he touches the puck (same ol, same ol). The short and currly of it all was the Sens were trying to win one game, and the Habs were tring to win a 7 game series.
We shall see what happens tonight, hopfully experience will continue to prevail.

From all I have seen, past and present, Subban seems like a d-bag. Great player, but a punk if not outright dirty at times.

Ottawa players are no angels, and the Ottawa Sun newspaper 2 years ago was guttless for this front page. That was game #1 and the Habs went on to lose that series.
Bottom line says…
“Sens take game one 4-2, but all talk on the hit”
