You are doing fine with united states I think, its better to go kill japan first on most games and then go atlantic.
Split incomes as american its not usually good, you couldnt get enough to threat japan and probably germany will have enough air to burst all combined fleet on 1 hit. The best you can do is defend egypt with all youve got, all these RAF on India is pretty much useless, much better defending egypt and attacking italians fleet.
Factory on persia always help also, and I try to get as many axis with russians as i can, italian somaliland and irak are soooo good for them.

I am at a loss to figure out what strategy might work. Your Japanese fleet is impervious to attack. All it has to do is sit there (or pop over to Japan if I threaten Japan) while your Japanese units grind India and Russia from the east. America cannot build fast enough soon enough to threaten Japan or the japanese fleet.
Your strategies in Europe are really throwing me. Italy+Germany vs Russia is very hard to defend against.
Normally I am used to Germany vs Russia and Italy vs UK-Africa.I think I have lost this.

You lost russians and chinesse on pacific board so soon and with almost no harm done to the japanese. Also Anzac didnt conquer new guinea and needs to threat the “money islands” with transports and ground troops, so jap must spend money and time to recapture them. With america you just need to have enough fleet to stay there (caroline, australia or even philippines) and hold against jap fleet/air, then start convoing sea zones and offload troops with anzac/america.
India is almost impossible to defend, you just have to be strong enough so if japan wants to conquer will need to spend a lot of resources there, opening windows for america to destroy him on long term.
In europe the best thing you can try is to defend egypt and cripple Italia, get Irak and africa originally axis with russia and send planes to moscow when needed until america can offload troops to europe.

Yeah, I’m not sure what to do with the Chinese. As for the Russians, I think that sending infantry to Moscow just hastens the defeat in the east. I don’t know why the strategy guides suggest sending it west.
