  • No this was an add on rule to keep the USA / GBR eschanges in check.  You will get the tech next turn assuming the bomber is still alive.  It needs to start the turn in your capitol.  You dont have to leave the bomber there though as the token is removed start of turn, tech takes affect at the end of turn.

  • I hate to say this, but I think a perfectly good game just ended.

    I don’t think in a long, evenly matched game, with close economies, one side can survive rocket barrages. My biggest issue with it is that there is no way to stop the rockets - it is inexorable and wears the other side down.

    I’ll keep playing of course, but I’m pretty disappointed. It feels like a great deal of hard work, combined with whimsical dice. This might be the break in our tech rule - sharing rockets is doubly terrible and basically a game ender, and it’ll be happening in several rounds.

    If it had been me that got it first, I would have felt the same about your situation.
