    Looks like the Russians had a bit more going for them then those Brits :) Not looking good for the Germans.


  • Actually, I did not expcet Russia to go for that 59%-battle… but with this outcome it was really worth it.

    Remarkable, how 4 German Tanks and 5 Fighter managed to score 1 hit …  :wink:

    When doing Germany I thought for  a while to give up Poland… but then decided to go like i did…

    Giving up Poland would have only delayed what would have happened anyway.

    Now, let’s say good night to Germany…

    Initially, I didn’t think I was going to but then thought it through and realized if the Russians go even or win the battle then the Germans are essentially left with nothing. If the battle starts going poorly then the Russians can just retreat and wait til the following turn to try again. Figured its about a 2/3 chance to pretty much win the game so why not take it.

    Though if you retreated from Poland its just delaying another turn or 2 so really didn’t make much difference as the Germans wouldn’t be making enough income to survive very long.
