    Some people like to run the game all the way until the 8 VCs; some like to quit when its pointless.  Which do you prefer?

    Hey Sir,

    with the Allies I think it is ok to drag a position out until one is absolutely sure there is no way the Axis can be stopped. With Axis it is a bit more problematic because Allied forced victory can take ages.

    Frankly, in our position I am convinced that Axis victory is unstoppable from here and I learned that single extreme dice events often do not change that (let’s say a very lucky triple attack at sz37 or a top 5% with an all in attack at sz97). The VC victory would take a couple of turns but the Axis have the economic lead which will be increased in the next rounds and on none of the both sides there is enough Allied momentum to really hurt the Axis.

    If I were the Allies I indeed would resign but it is really fine in case you would like to continue.
