Thanks for the recap on the stages of the Alpha’s. I do like the newer rules I think compared to the OOB rules. Just gatta break the group on the next new game.

Any war against the USA will get nowhere fast without the Money Islands. Therefore, attacking UK/ANZAC is an absolute must, so that you can rake in that badly needed +20 IPCs.

Another purchasing strategy you may consider is 1 fighter and the rest inf. First couple of turns you should be able to do 9 inf and a fighter. Helps with bombing raids on Moscow and those 4’s can really come in handy in big battles.

In other words, the NO makes the axis man up and attack Russia. I am not trying to play a 20 round game here, it should be over in 10.

Do I look like I want to play a 20 round global game? It is the best idea for a national objective ever. It makes sense to me, if the axis are cowards then Russia gets extra money, that is good propaganda.

one time japan ended up in brazil not sure how it happenend then when they took africa The us and the bags of money shot me out of brazil took the IC in south africa and got to keep africa for a little wile Then i ended up in the middle of russi a with moscow lenigrad stlingrad still not 100% sure how the heck the happenned…

In AAP40 my one game as Japan resulted in a pretty easy win due to going all out on J1. But in Global you have to consider the USA getting that massive IPC boost if you attack UK/ANZAC. I find the best strategy is to focus on taking China and killing any Russian INF that get too close. Dare the UK to attack you early, if they do you get a free shot at the DEI.

That wont work as easily with alpha set up… J1 attack in Alpha is usually a bad idea if the allies know what they are doing.
