Im not talking about a digital Map, but a real one. I consider myself very artistically minded so I think I could do it without it looking too bad. What materials would I need, how much time would it take? I wanna do a global map from about 1920.

LOL I have a lot games like that. However M44 is really good and it plays quick and easy. Best of all my Dear Wife loves it!
Now that is awesome, my wife leaves the room if any war games come out, i had to buy Catan and Carcassone to get her to sit with us….

What i learned from these, always double check the mold lines before painting.
I thought i cleaned them all up but after the primer went on the mold lines really stick out. -

Did you ink wash and dry brush these?
Amazing job on these! :-D
-
Nice work! I really love those infantry. You got the gray and khaki spot on.
May I ask why you decided to highlight/drybrush the vehicles with gray?
-
Thanks for comments. Yes, these are brown-washed and then dry-brushed. I chose a gray for the dry-brush thinking that when metal is out in the elements the paintwork fades and flakes off, also from lots of use. I have over done it on a couple of the pieces, brush wasn’t quite dry enough but overall i think it turned out ok. It has given them a weathered look i think.

Well, you got the effect you wanted, because they definitely look weathered. Thanks for showing the pictures. :-D
